The outside edge is rounded over for comfortable hangs, pull-ups and ab warm-ups. 19.5 in. long, 3 in. tall, and 1.25 in. wide (49.5 cm x 7.6 cm x 3.2cm). Weight is 1.2 lbs (~550 grams).
Constructed with locally sourced maple and 6mm nylon cord. Each Franklin Hangboard is handmade by climber and woodworker Garth Franklin in Salt Lake City, Utah. Initially created as a solution to keep his grip strength strong during a month long surf trip Mexico, he has refined the design into the board you see today.
